Division Standards

PRO DIVISION

The Pro division is designed to test the best.  This is your opportunity to create your own personal dream team.  Designed for mature athletes who are ready to showcase their skill on the competition floor. These athletes completed all the open workouts RX and prepared fro anything thrown at them. 

*Note, these numbers should not reflect a current 1rm.  Athletes should be able to move these weights safely during the event.

 

Movement Standards: Male 

Clean 225+ Male; 155+ Females

Snatch 185+ Male; 125+ Females

Skills C2B Pull-ups, T2B, Muscle-ups, HSPU’s

**Athletes are encouraged to practice and be able to perform, some, high skill movements. (i.e Muscle Ups, Handstand Walks, Triple Unders, Ring Dips, etc.)

*** These loads and skills are recommendations. The Iron Clash reserves the right to change or program heavier if desired.

 

AMATEUR DIVISON

These athletes share a common goal of functional fitness and are working toward mastering their skills. They are likely new to competing and are looking forward to the challenge of competition. This division is for those who love the community aspect of fitness and are working toward Rx’ing most workouts.  The Amateur division is designed to showcase the future of the Iron Clash. 

NOTE: All weights listed are to be considering working weight, not a 1 rep max.

 

Movement Standards: Male

Snatch 95-135 lbs Male;  55-95lbs Female

Clean & Jerk 135-165lbs Male; 65-125lbs Female 

Skill proficiency is fair to good in: Pull Ups, K2E, Box Jumps, 5+ Double Unders, Hand Release Push-ups

**Athletes are encourged to practice and be able to perform, in a low volume, some high skill movements. (i.e C2B, T2B, HSPU, etc.)

*** These loads and skills are recommendations. The Iron Clash reserves the right to change or program heavier if desired.

 

Masters Open Division

The Masters Open division is designed for all of those athletes, male & female, looking to throwdown with their friends and have some fun. While still a very competitive division, this is designed for the “weekend warriors” and those not quite at the level of the Rx division. These athletes have a passion for functional fitness and can complete most benchmark WODs AsRx.

*NOTE: All weights listed are to be considering working weight, not a 1 rep max.

 

39-49 Age Group

Snatch 115-135 lbs Male & 75-105 lbs – Female

Clean & Jerk 135-165 lbs – Males & 95-125 lbs Female

Skill proficiency is good to great in:  Pull Ups, 10+ Double Unders & Toes to Bar

**Athletes are encouraged to practice and be able to perform, some, high skill movements. (i.e C2B Pullups, HSPU/Handstand Walks, Double Unders, etc.)

*** These loads and skills are recommendations. The Iron Clash reserves the right to change or program heavier if desired. 

50+ Age Group

Snatch 75-115 lbs Male & 45-75 lbs – Female

Clean & Jerk 115-135 lbs – Males & 55-85 lbs Female

Skill proficiency is good to great in:  Pull Ups, 10+ Double Unders & Toes to Bar

 

Team Pro Division

The Pro Team division is designed to test the best.  This is your opportunity to create your own personal dream team.  Designed for mature athletes who are ready to showcase their skill on the competition floor. These athletes completed all the open workouts RX and prepared fro anything thrown at them. 

Teams consist of two people

*NOTE: All weights listed are to be considering working weight, not a 1 rep max.

 

Movement Standards:

Clean 225+ Male; 145+ Female

Snatch 185+ MAle; 125+ Female

Skills C2B Pull-ups, T2B, Muscle-ups, HSPU’s

**Teams should have one or more athletes who can perform high skill movements. (i.e Muscle Ups, Handstand Walks, Triple Unders, Ring Dips, etc.)

***While it is beneficial for both teammates to meet the above movement standards, it is not required.  The Iron Clash reserves the right to change or program heavier if desired.

 

Team Amateur Division

The Team Amateur Division is calling all of those athletes looking to throwdown with their friends and have some fun. While still a very competitive division, this is designed for the “weekend warriors” and those not quite at the level of the Rx team division. This division is for those who love the community aspect of fitness and are Rx’ing most workouts

Teams consist of two males

Snatch 95-155 lbs Males; 75-125lbs Female

Clean & Jerk 135-185lbs Males; 95-125lbs Female

Skill proficiency is good to great in: Pull Ups, Double Unders & Toes to Bar.

**Teams should have one or more athletes who can perform high skill movements. (i.e Handstands, Handstand Walking, C2B/Muscle Ups, pistols, etc.)
